Pauline Osborne – Nia – Through Movement We Find Health
In this class, you will experience a joyful approach to fitness that will leave you feeling more energized, grounded, relaxed and empowered. Nia is a somatic-based holistic dance program that is accessible to all body types and levels of fitness. Through music, movement, sounding and other techniques, participants are encouraged to stay in the present and connect to their body, mind, emotions and spirits.
Nia is rooted in the idea that when we move the way the body is designed, we can more effectively condition the body from a fitness perspective. Simultaneously, with the coupling of somatic techniques, you can discover how to use Nia movement therapeutically to self-heal.
