Keith Watts, Entrepreneur

Businessman and entrepreneur Keith Watts started meditating with a walking mantra fifty-five years ago at the fragile age of five years old. He then received a sitting mantra when he was just ten, and for his first college he attended Maharishi International University where in conjunction with his studies learned multiple styles and advanced meditation techniques. After college in his first business, television production, Keith developed training videos for a young Deepak Chopra during his budding career. Since then, Keith has engrossed himself in many other successful businesses including advertising, general contracting, real estate investing and developing, not to mention several decades of community service with organizations like the Kiwanis, food and clothing banks, the Chamber of Commerce, and downtown associations.

Keith started working in Cle Elum in 2017 where he owns and manages Whispering Pines RV Campground. He credits much of his success, balanced state of mind, and ability to manage difficult situations to his early start in the deep study of meditation and spirituality. “By starting my meditation at such a young age,” Keith recalls, “my father gave me the gift of always knowing that I have silence within me. I’ve had many occasions in my life when that ability to find my silence has been a critical saving grace for my own stability and healthy state of being.”
