UKC Senior Center is a hub of fellowship and connection for health and wellness programs, social activities, health services, support agencies, and resources to and encourage participation and enhance the lives of older adults and the greater Upper Kittitas County community.

Upper Kittitas County seniors organized as an AARP Chapter in 1972. After meeting at various locations for 20 years, they incorporated as Upper Kittitas County Senior Center in 1991 and gained 501c3 status in 1992. As a nonprofit with bylaws and a board of directors, they continued gathering at local facilities while holding activities and programs and saving for their own building. In 2000, the City of Cle Elum provided two acres in Centennial City Park. Using mostly donated materials and labor, they completed the 10,000 sq. ft. Centennial Center in 2002. Today, UKCSC collaborates with community organizations, with programming determined by grants, donations, and volunteer efforts.
